About Us

David and Linda Venn, owners, moved from Tampa Florida in 1979 with eight canoes to open what was then Canoe Trips Perdido River.

Adventures on Perdido River has provided knowledgeable, personal services for your outdoor adventures for over 40 years. Trips for canoeing, kayaking, tubing are available on Perdido River in the Cantonment Florida area. Trips can be scheduled for overnight 11 miles trip, day trips for 11 or 9 miles. Please give us a call to schedule your trip (day and time). Please leave a name, phone number and detailed message to help us serve you better. River Condtions may change, please check with us the day before your trip.

We offer several services to choose from...

We are open daily and you can enjoy the river. Please call to schedule your trip down the River. During the SUMMER - Trips are scheduled by reservations. All prices are subject to change without notice. We accept Cash only, there is an ATM at a gas station nearby. Also available is Dollar General on Muscogee road or 9 mile road in Beulah. Please enjoy your trip, all trips are due back by 4 pm. Thank you very much for Your business!

Canoe Trip for 11 miles or 9 miles

$65

11 miles is approx. 4 - 6 hours with stops.

9 miles is approx. 3-5 hours with stops.

2 adults, 2 children under 13 in one canoe.

We provide paddles and float vests for you to use.

These times are an estimate - if you stop along the way.
Your trip will take more time.

Kayak - seat 1

$50

Kayaks seat one person.

The price is the same for either day trip.

A paddle and life vest is provided.

Tubing - prices vary

$20 - $25

Cooler tube is $10 each.

9 miles $25 - per person.

2 miles $20 - per person.

2 day overnight canoe trip for 2 Adults

We will transport your canoe or kayak up river - call for group prices. We have a boat ramp you can Launch and takeout your boat - call for prices. Picnic and Swim.

We will transport you & your canoe or kayak up river for $35 Minimum.

(This price includes parking $10 and our take fees)

launch or take out your boat / not parking

This is a family safe location, please be careful and aware of all people, children, and pets when launching or removing your boat from the river. Please follow escambia county leash laws and while in our parking area - keep your pet on a leash. Thank you for helping us with this matter.
